2017 starts another season and this year you will find me coaching at Madison, La Follette High School with the Lady Lancers. I am extremely excited to take on this new challenge coaching our leagues only team to have won a state title!

This year’s motto is: TOTAL TEAM --------<#)

We have continued to grow the LAXERGIRL program and we are now offering summer, fall and winter lacrosse for girls in all age groups. The support has been tremendous and we are continuing our mission of low to no cost lacrosse experiences to help grow the game.

Have a great spring season,

2016 Varsity and JV, Verona Teams

Spring was an exciting season, I coached at Verona as the high school girls head Varsity and Junior Varsity coach for the club. I use a "total team" approach to my coaching style and by combing all practices and events with both teams we made a lot of progress and the girls did great this year. Our Varsity team placed second in the MALA conference and sixth in the state overall. We made it to the second round of the playoff's where we ended the season with a bang..... that's another story! Our JV team did a excellent job as well and also helped support our varsity team. We had a total of 28 girls between the two teams this year so there was no lack of field time!

The Verona Lacrosse Club's Girls Youth U15 team completed an undefeated season on June 6 at Badger Ridge Middle School.  At 10-0, the Wildcats finished the season scoring a cumulative 92 goals versus just 20 for the opponents they played against.

Coach Klein's message to the team: 6-10-15

What an incredible season!  All the U15 Wildcat girls have come so far in personal development, teamwork development and playing the best lacrosse I have ever coached.  It's hard to put into words what you all mean to me and how proud I am to call you my girls!  You had a undefeated season going 10-0 with 92 GF and only 20 GA, that was no easy feat.  We never focused on winning at all cost's, getting the most goals or setting records.  We focused on the fundamentals, teamwork, growing personally, life lessons and bonding as a team.  Winning was a byproduct of all your work as a whole.

I can not possibly explain in a few short sentences on this web page what all of this feels like and what it means to me as a coach, but I can tell you this---> ALL <--- of you inspire me to become a better coach, learn more, practice harder and never underestimate the power of TEAMWORK.

Thank you PLAYERS and all the assistant coaches for a fantastic season and I hope to see you this summer for off season Lacrosse!

Have a great summer and LAX ON!

Coach Klein, CK

Hello all and thanks for checking out the page. This will be my sixth year coaching girl’s lacrosse in Wisconsin. I am a current US Lacrosse womans level 3 certified coach, a member of US Lacrosse, active in the Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation and in the US Lacrosse Coaching Education Program. I coach in the off season as well for LAXERGIRLTEAMS a low to no cost lacrosse program. I also attend as many camps, clinics and continuing education events as possible throughout the year. I have completed over 350 hours of specialized physical training and fitness in the Orange Shoe Program and I was named the Girls Youth Coach of The Year by the WLF in 2014; I could not be more grateful. In my free time I participate in endurance events ranging from full marathons to Tough Mudders, Spartan races and everything in between. I was originally drawn to the sport by my daughter. My family and I are all Wisconsinites that live, work, go to school and play in Verona Wisconsin.
